Winter 2024 – Baltic Birch ply
By far the largest project I’ve undertaken. This is a commission for a friend to achieve more storage space in their condo. Also, my first time prototyping in CAD software, useful but a bit of a learning curve.
As of this writing, this project is still in progress. And it’s been an excellent learning opportunity so far. The amount of repeated steps has lead me to develop numerous jigs, including for door handles, adjustable shelf pins, and door hinge mounts. This has also been the most bulk material I’ve ever used in a project, 7 sheets of 3/4 ply, plus backing panels. Below are photos from the build so far.
