Vacuum Pressing Made Simple
An excellent technical introduction to how to vacuum press and what type of forms can be made with that technique. I don’t yet have a press but am looking forward to acquiring one once budget and time allow.
Select pieces from Designmuseum Denmark. Their whole collection is great but on the right are two pieces that have really stuck with me. The chair by Grete Jalk is rightfully famous. I’m not sure if the peanut-shaped lamp has the same reputation but it’s stuck in my mind as dramatic and pleasing design.
Flaco Design this was a delightful find while wandering Copenhagen. Casper was very welcoming and his work was even more impressive and inspiring in person.
